San Diego society shone a little brighter as it honored the altruists who go beyond the call of duty to willingly give of their time to help charities, their communities, and non-profit organizations. Presented by charismatic show-biz personalities Leonard Simpson and the lovely Brittany Noelle Simpson, these awards are presented to those who ‘get dressed each day with the gloves of compassion and a coat of courage to help others in life!’

Taking place at the grand Sheraton Marina Pavillion by the harbor, not even the drizzle of rain could dampen the high spirits nor take away from the beauty of the lovely gowns and dashing ensembles of the ladies and gentlemen attending this charitable dinner. A silent and live auctions presented by the amazing Steve Lewandowski started the evening. Dancing performances by Darcy and Shane, Amelia and Will and singing by Chad and Lisa Frisque graced the night with an aura of melody. A visually stunning StyleLand fashion show complete with a winter theme featuring Couture designer Kenneth Barlis and clothing by GBS Mens Clothier, Mia Bella Boutique, Better Deal Tuxedos and Furs by Graf put the finishing touch on tasteful and glamorous event.
Leonard Simpson presented the awards to the twenty men and women receiving the honors adding a personal touch of appreciation and his personal warmth in his introductions of the honorees. The Best Dressed Winners were: Mary Murphy, Sonya Berg, Diana Shapiro, Ellen Zinn, Barbie Spinazolla, Cheryl Mitchell, Heather Winfield, Audrey Geisel, Muffy Walker, Laura Martella, Papa Doug Manchester, Dan Spinazolla, Wayne Foster, Roy Silver, Dean Loring, Tim Zinn, John Spanos, Toby Macfarlane, Amir Mojaver, and Jeff Jacobs.
