All About Fashion Week San Diego 2013

Fashion Week San Diego® (FWSD) is quickly approaching and based on 2012’s successful week of events, it is sure to please.  In fact, five of their emerging designers from the 2012 Runway Show were asked to participate during New York Fashion Week. Designers Stacie May, Dos Caras Swimwear, nOia, Kenneth Barlis and Jessica Faulkner were asked to participate in Nolcha Fashion Week 2013 taking the momentum and knowledge they received from Fashion Week San Diego to one of the major fashion capitals of the world.

Fashion Week San Diego® (FWSD) is also thrilled to announce the participation of three competing designers from the Style Network’s new fashion competition series ‘Styled to Rock’, Andre Soriano, Cecilia Aragon, and Dexter Simmons. The competing designers will showcase their Spring/Summer 2014 collections during this collaborative show. FWSD is excited to have these designers on the Fashion Week San Diego runway.

Andre Soriano is a veteran designer of Fashion Week San Diego who presented his Spring/Summer 2013 during the 2012 runway shows. Watch for his upcoming feature in ArtsNFashion Magazine.  He is known for his larger than life gowns – you won’t be disappointed by his latest collections with a punk inspiration. Cecilia Argan is a men’s wear designer based in San Francisco. She will be designing for the Andre Soriano Men’s Wear Collection debuting at Fashion Week San Diego 2013. Dexter Simmons brings his vast experience in the fashion industry to his women’s wear – along with a strong music inspiration.

The audience of Fashion Week San Diego 2013 will see a sneak peek of the Style Network's new fashion competition series "Styled to Rock" before the competing designer runway shows to end the Thursday night on October 3rd. “Styled to Rock” will debut Tuesday, November 5th at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the Style Network.
