About Us
ArtsNFashion Magazine celebrates all types of artists and the artistic process. We know that behind every work of art there is a human being working very hard to make it happen. We want to honor the artist by exploring the process and his/her journey. To us, the story of the artist is as relevant as the art itself. We seek to showcase the up-and-coming as well as the established artists. We encourage all genres of art – visual and performing.

We seek stories about theatrical productions, playwrights, actors, directors, designers, visual artists, painters, graphic designers, photographers, filmmakers, clothing and jewelry designers, models, musicians, dancers, potters, sculptors, illustrators, cartoonists, etc. We want to know what motivates the artist, his/her sources of inspiration, dreams and goals, and vision. We want to know The ARTIST.

The mix of genre and personal story associated with the art allows ArtsNFashion Magazine to touch a wide audience.  Thus, our primary demographic is mostly 18-34.  However, we have the unique opportunity to touch all ages considering our affiliation with Theatre, High Fashion and Fine Art.

San Diego has a vibrant artistic community that we aim to explore and promote. ArtsNFashion Magazine appreciates our fellow artists around the world and encourages submissions from the national and international communities. Selected stories include a foreign translation.

WHY ADVERTISE WITH US?
1.     NEW CONCEPT – We’ve heard of Reality Television but a REALITY MAGAZINE? We encourage artists to write their own stories. Everyone loves a different take on something.

2.     WIDE AUDIENCE – Everyone enjoys the arts in some way, shape or form. Most magazines only devote a small portion to music, arts, film, and fashion. The entire magazine is devoted to ALL types of artists. There is something for everyone.

3.     ALL AGES/SOCIOECONOMIC STATUS – Many magazines cater to a specific age group by their look and story focus. We will cover everything from the hippest, youth-oriented underground designers and bands to the most rarified theatrical productions and art exhibitions.

4.     IT’S PERSONAL – Artists are used to being evaluated and critiqued on their work. They are often put on pedestals if their work is “brilliant” and “fabulous” or ripped apart if the critic deems it falls short. We encourage artists to share their personal journeys, their struggles and failures, as well as their successes. We don’t focus only on the product…but also on the person.

5.     ALL-INCLUSIVE – Unfortunately, many artists do not succeed. It is a difficult road filled with competition, rivalry and pitfalls. We accept stories from artists that are established, up-and-coming, as well as just starting out.

6.     IT’S NEEDED – Because only the most successful artists get any recognition by the media, many artists that have a large following but have not “made it” do not get any media coverage. They will push their articles among their hundreds and thousands of friends.

7.    INTERNATIONAL AUDIENCE – We accept stories by foreign artists and writers. Selected stories will be published with a foreign translation next to the article, so readers in the artists’ countries of origin can understand it.

Demographics
ArtsNFashion Magazine is a fusion of the arts.  We combine high culture with pop culture.  A passion for arts brings together the young and trendy with the mature and financially established.  These two groups don’t often meet, but are very curious about each other. Everyone wants to have their finger on the pulse of the latest trends.  Additionally, young artists want to have exposure to patrons and fans of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds.  ArtsNFashion bridges the generational gap through art.

Our readers are artistic, brand conscious people who go out of their way to find great clothes, cool clubs, beautiful art and sophisticated theatrical productions.

Our demographics primarily fall within the range of 18-34 year olds and 35-44 year olds.  The website, the visuals, and the graphic design are hip and have the look of a “young” magazine.  The emphasis on up and coming artists, underground designers, and the latest trends will appeal to both demographics.

In addition, we highlight what is traditionally considered refined, sophisticated, upper level arts like theatre, architecture, fine arts, and interior design.  Some of our article submissions are composed by established playwrights and academics.  Within our highly innovative designs are high quality writing and content based articles attracting the 45-54 and the 55+ year old groups.

ArtsNFashion Magazine’s articles will also examine the personal journey of the people behind the art. ArtsnFashion is looking for that “Oprah Winfrey” feel.  Our stories will ask the questions: Tell me your troubles?  Your struggles?  Your successes?  How did you get from here to there?  How did you do it? Everyone wants to know.
