The Obama family has made quite the scene in the fashion world. Now the two children are really stepping up to the plate. I think they are great role models for girls everywhere because they have normal shapes and display a good body image, but also are proud of who they are and express it through style. The article above criticizes the media for shining the spotlight on them as stylish trendsetters, but isn't this who we want kids to see? The girls are wearing age appropriate clothes, are beautiful in their own way, and also are smart people. To me it is great we are celebrating people who have substance instead of pop stars like Kesha.
