Fashion Week San Diego Crowns Kenneth Barlis as Top Designer!

October 1^st 2012 ended the wait to showcase creative geniuses and their works in San Diego.  Twelve designers spent the better part of eight months preparing clothing and jewelry that highlighted the fashion culture and community of San Diego which was a key goal of Fashion Week organizers.

Fashion Week culminated with a magnificent runway show at the beautiful Hard Rock Hotel, San Diego.  Hosted by San Diego 6 television personality, Kristin Mosteller, the V.I.P. event complete with swag bags, open bars, live music by Spags Music and of course Fashion, featured ten pieces from each designer as they competed for a business package to help make their label and designs a reality.  Fashion designer and FIDM student, Kenneth Barlis, took home top honors.  His prize package includes business consulting, logo design, a Wells Fargo business banker representative, a fashion photo shoot, cash and much more.

FWSD 2012 was a true success.  ArtsNFashion recommends taking the time to attend as many of the events as possible in the coming years.
